Silknet was recipient of the "Mercury 2011” award - "Business of the year”.The prize was presented to chairman of the Silknet Supervisory board Mr. Giorgi Ramishvili by the President of Georgia. 

The business award ceremony was organized by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia and the National Investment Agency for the first time this year. 250 companies expressed their desire to participate in ”Mercury 2011”. 45 were selected to participate in the competition. Companies distinguished in 15 nominations were named on May 11 at the House of New Technologies.
